Why are your Locks Dull?
When Locks are 3-5 years old, they tend to lose pigmentation, making them dull in color and shine. If you’re an active outdoors person, the sun will definitely turn your hair color over time. But most locks start to naturally lighten at the ends because the older hair no longer receives nutrients from the bloodstream at the scalp. The only way to correct the loss of pigmentation is to color your locks a couple of times a year. You can do a color rinse, but that will require you to color often (and it’s messy because it bleeds off onto your clothes/pillowcases). Permanent color is the best option and looks the most natural. If you stick to coloring your locks the same color as your natural hair, you will not have to worry about touching up the new growth of hair but once every 1-2 years.
